Have you ever danced with the devil?

One on my wildest nights was in Yemen. In 1994 during the civil war a RPG miss our car, well just say I could tell it was Russian made. Then we bounced off a Russian BMP before we pulled over got out and walked right into a fire fight. I was unarmed and that is probably why I here alive today.

I hope you didn't "just" figure that one out. I'd have thought it would have been obvious much sooner.

When I used to ride to work almost every day, I was having close calls almost every day. Close enough that I could consider that 2-3 inches to the left or right and something with substantial mass and/or momentum would've killed me.

Things like that don't scare me anymore, what does scare me is the prospect of a slow death, where I'm fully aware of it.
