Happy birthday, you red-haired fatty!

Hey, it's my dog. He's two today, and really overweight. We think he's eating apples that fall from the neighbor's tree. But he's a sweet puppy, and slightly smarter than a rock.

Chopper. As in Mark "Chopper" Read, an infamous Aussie. His middle name is Bear, but lately my wife has been calling him Fatty Apples.

He's looking very dapper and smug in that photo. My cat needs to lose some weight and I've had her on a diet. Oh my, that bike ride to and from the vet today with 13 pounds of feline strapped to my chest...

If he's that young, have you gotten his thyroid tested? It's a common problem in non-mutts.

Do take note of the small puppy holes in the $2800 sofa he's relaxing on. He caused over $1000 in damages to the house the week we got him. Fatty Apples is one of the nicer names he's been called. And I'm sure that in a day or two, I will post a picture of the 3 dogs sitting at the table, eating Frosty Paws.

My dog has not eaten furniture yet. Toys, stuffed animals, my sleeping bag, a comforter, power cords, sprinkler heads, yes. Furniture, no.

I had a dog that got into a neighbors ........uh....... hemp plants once and became quite hungry for the roasted chickens I had just pulled from the frig. She seem a lot less stressed for the next several hours.

No she just wonder around looking all lost and then found a corner to lie down in and sleep it off. I just remember her drinking lots and lots of water the next couple of days. Told my wife she was probably hording it for the bong she had hidden in her bed.

I had to lock up my stash, to keep my dog from eating mine. Then he'd give me the sh***est look when I wouldn't share my bong hit. There's nothing worse than a pothead dog.

What about that dog on television that judges you? I don't like that dog. Plus it talks, and that animation always creeps me out.

So, does your dog drag its gut on the ground yet?

Well, the dog in my avatar has been with us since we lived in Australia. That's all I'm saying.

Nice Pup !!

Our stray space Kat is a plumper, but I cant see depriving her of
one of her main joys....she stays indoors, has some serious feline
hang-ups...I dont want to add to her many woes by depriving her of
one of the things she does like....being abl to nibble dry food throughout the day.
