Are you old enough to remember this TV show?

From Sherwood Schwartz (Gilligan's Isle)

Didn't view the clip did ya? It's not Gilligan's island, and the show didn't have Tina Louise in it (I checked IMDB because I had no idea).

It's About Time.

First season..astronauts in the stone age.

Second season, astronauts home, bring cavemen to the 1960's.

Right?

Yes, I can still sing the theme song! Sunday nights, right after Wonderful World of Color, if I recall.

Even as a new member of the over 40 crowd, you're still too young, kid.

I remember it existing, but I saw little, if any, of it because we couldn't get the chanel it was on much of the time. Mostly I remember how we little darlings *******ized the theme song - "It's about time/It's about space/ It's about you and your ugly face . . . ." Ooooo, were we clever, or what?

For you youngsters, this was back when there was no "cable" or "satellite" TV and we had to rely on these things called "antennas" -- or, if you are a pedantic twit, "antennae" -- to actually pluck the TV signal from the air. The signal then moved though string spliced together with chewing gum to the actual TV set, which was in an enormous wooden crate, had a picture tube the size of a grape, and had electronic innards made of sticks and rocks. And to show how tough things were, when we wanted to change the channel, we actually had to get up, walk across the room, and turn a dial on the actual TV set. Amazingly enough, carpal tunnel syndrome did not run amok, though only God knows why not.

That's what I remember too. The one that comes to mind is ...It's about time, It's about space, It's about time to slap your face.
