I was really hoping Bee Movie was going to be exactly what they were showing as a teaser last year: a guy (Jerry) trying to making a CG bee movie on the cheap, dressed in a giant bumble bee costume, with an appearance by Chris Rock. They had a giant cardboard windshield set! I feel cheated.

NO kidding. God that guy is an idiot! Too this day, i have never heard anything that was funny come out of his mouth. Must be an east coast sense of humor or something, but here in the midwest that dude ain't remotely funny. Never was.

Well, I'm as east coast as you can get and I fail to see the humor. I never liked the chick who played Elaine (?)either.

I'm more east coast - I'm usually in tears at most of the episodes. Dunno, lot of the stuff (the car moving episode for one) is stuff I see a lot. I agree though that Elaine outside of Seinfeld is super annoying, and George doesn't really hold a good role. In fact I don't think any of them really could succeed without the others - Bee Movie doesn't seem that funny to me at all. Need more than an annoying Jewish Brooklyn accent for comedy outside of Brooklyn

More correctly you're a New Yawka, I imagine his humor is more suited to them kinda folks.

It's as though Jerry misses the drama, and tries to stir some up any way he can. Now he's doing cartoon voices...can Hollywood squares be far behind?
