My car is missing

Went down to the parking lot and it's not there.
I'm just a tad upset.
I'm down at the coast and not at home.
The neighbor has told me to watch my language (which became exponentially worse at that point).
The cops said they would be here by 9:00 (two hours and 40 mins. from now).
I want to violently break things (partly to piss of the neighbor).

Sure you didn't park it funny and let it fly down the hill again?

Nope I'm in flat land country. I did look in the marsh before I called the cops though.

Hmmm? You know after reading through the "How to break it off" thread, think my car is trying to tell me something?

Have you and your car been having "issues" lately? Does she not turn you on like she once did? Is she tired of your boring and predictable driving habits? Have you bought her any nice new presents lately? Tires? Tinted windows? Maybe you can spice things up a bit for the sake of the relationship....a little "additive" in the oil perhaps.

I don't know if buying presents will work now. Seems as if she has left me for someone else. And if she does come back there are going to be the inevitable trust issues, wondering where she has been, what's that smell, do I even want to look in the glove box, etc.?

Whoa Allen, that's messed up. I hope that they find it and not too beat up. Most of all, I hope they find the punks that did this.

Good luck. ((hugs))

True to their word the cops showed up before nine. Paperwork is filled out.

I do have a bike down here. Going to go to the LBS tomorrow and see how fat of a tire I can squeeze on it. Anyone want to take an across Georgia bike tour?

I'm sorry to hear about this, Allen. If I were there, I would try to entertain you with comic distractions.

Allen, bad things happen for good reasons. You'll find another car. Something that fits your current mood & mindset. This will be a better car, one that understands your needs, wants and desires... One that deserves you.

Your old car didn't deserve you. Running off like that , on a whim, with another person. And not even a "Dear Allen" note for your trouble.

I know it's tough, but you've gotta stay strong. You have friends for support. You can count on us!

Just to let you know... I'll lend you my shotgun for when you find the bastige.

Who knows, maybe if you still had it, you could be driving it normally, and crashed somehow resulting in something worse or death. Perhaps some good will come out of this incident.

Allen, I had a car stolen once. I couldn't get lucky though, the police found it 10 blocks away with a note attached to the steering wheel saying "Thanks anyway, but I think I'd rather walk!"

Then again, this car was so sad that car stereo thieves used to break in to it and INSTALL charity car stereos because they felt sorry for me

EDIT: The car eventually died when I had a truck pass me on a 2 lane going the opposite way and the hood and left fender blew off on the shockwave

Any chance you were parking in a tow-zone?

Have had that happen several times.
