I suspect a mid-morning omelet/hasbrown/bacon breakfast, and, weather permitting, a ride while everyone else is doing the lunch thing. Then a mid-afternoon lunch of grilled filet mignon, weather permitting, and veggies yet to be determined. Followed by a nap.

Aw, that's sweet. Thanks. Somehow, I think that asking her to drive with me to the opposite coast and eat Thanksgiving dinner with a friend I know from the internet may freak her out just a tad. She just might be crazy enough to do it, though. I mean, the Taco Bell thing was her idea.

Three o'clock. Come on by! Only about 10 family are coming so there is plenty of food. You, Bpohl and his girlfriend would be more than welcome!

We have a very traditional Thanksgiving meal with turkey, dressing, sweet potatoes, etc.

One thing happens every year that gets me tickled. My mother makes some kind of oyster dish that no one eats. Mom then complains that she went to all that trouble and expense making that dish that everyone begs for and then no one eats it. She has yet to tell us who begs for it since none of us can force ourselves to eat it.

One thing has become a staple at Thanksgiving dinner over the last 10 years or so: Cool Whip. Last year I made fresh whipped cream for the pies and all the younger members of the family preferred Cool Whip.

My parents are still deciding. If we stay home we are going to have
Turkey, Dinner Rolls, probably some side salads and then some dessert.

We may go out to eat, not sure yet.
