Holiday gift ideas: ask 'em & post 'em here

I need a gift for my Mom. I'd like to get a movie - she likes funny movies and it would let us all watch it afterwards which she likes. Some of her favorites are My Cousin Vinny, Cars, Little Miss Sunshine (last year's which went over GREAT!).

I can't think of any movies that came out this year that fall into that funny/family category - ideas?

If I get an awesome bonus this year, I'm thinking of one of two gifts for my wife.
She really wants hardwood floors installed.
I was also thinking of getting her a larger diamond ring. Our 10 year anniversary is coming up soon.

I really enjoyed Ratatouille. Great message. (I find myself becoming a huge Brad Bird fan.)

I'd skip Ratatouille and get her Surf's Up instead. Very funny and much better than Ratatouille, IMO.

Is it just me, or the character that the rat was controlling so annoying. He reminds me so much of Ross in friends. It makes me want to choke the living heck out of him.

+1. My soon-to-be-ex-wife's favorite, and pretty high on my list, too. Dennis Leary as a cat burglar whose last attempt at the "big score" goes south. Kevin Spacey and Judy Davis as the dysfunctional couple he kidnaps on X-mas Eve to avoid the curfew/dragnet. Worth seeing just for the first 15 minutes, but the rest is pretty good, too.

If you consider "My Cousin Vinny" to be family fair, this is, too. Lots of F-bombs in both.

^^ I do some online shopping for my wife, and I have found a few places that are pretty cool. Look at these places:

www.freepeople.com
www.anthropologie.com

She seems to like the things I have picked out for her at these places.

Cool thanks!

I was in Strawberry's this weekend. Awk-ward!

When I asked if a skirt I did pick out (just a black twirly one) came in a size 2 I was openly laughed at. I've never shopped cloths for a girl before and apparently I'm off to a great start
