It's a great idea. I did all my college programming projects with a vodka drink on the computer stand. However they seem to frown on it in the corporate world.

You are not using a proper martini glass are you? The suit and tie crowd are very superficial. They are frowning at your vodka in a sippy cup.

One of my coworker's previous offices had a fully stocked bar in most of their cubes. His boss had a bottle of peach moonshine on his desk. And it was fairly often my coworker had to call his wife to say he would be at work late to sober up from the work day. Can't say that's the norm though.

In college, I would do a fair bit of programming while I had a drink or two in the evening. It can help at times. But yes, there is a small gap between not enough and too much.

The sippy cup was so when I knock it over I don't get it on the laptop. It's for their benefit. But noooo, apparently corporate procedure only allows for a 'Highball Glass'

but I'm gonna:

After seeing that, I think I'm going to make sure of my parsers, perhaps encoding characters such as semicolon as "%3B" to make sure.
