Surprise ******!

Most who have been on the internet a long time have likely been subjected to the "******" shock image at least once.

If you haven't, consider yourself lucky. If you choose to seek it out, don't say I haven't warned you. It's a very objectionable image. It may very well destroy you.

That said, there's a photo group on Flicker dedicated to showing the reactions of those who are seeing it for the first time (without actually showing the image in question). It's completely hilarious.

The ****** image is indeed quite awful to behold, and I don't recommend seeking it out.

The group of images, however, is very funny, and does not include the image in question. Reaction shots only.

And to think that people once thought the internet would usher in a new age of democracy and intellectual growth.

Yeah ****** is one of those good ol internet legends that just keeps on giving.

I remebered the first tiem I saw it....here was the phases:

1) disgust: HOLY CRAP, WHAT THE F***...DUDE, WHY DID YOU PUT THIS ON MY SCREEN!?!?!

2) doubt: .....is that even possible?

3) denial: .....that s*** is shopped, I'm going to prove it...where's my photoshop?

4) ROFLcopter: I burst into uneasy laughter after realizing I spent the last 30 minutes staring at some dude's chocolate starfish in photoshop.

Somewhere on the internet is the entire photo series ****** came from....the picture series tells an epic story, of how one person stretches himself to the limits and back again.

What gets me is the wedding ring on the dude's hand...WTF? I'd think only someone really freaking bored would do this....
