Passed out last night....

I don't really know what happened, but I was NOT drunk. I woke up this morning at 5 am, lying on the floor of my bedroom doorway, a can of diet Mountain Dew laying spilled on the floor. At the time I had no idea what happened, but I was so groggy that I just hopped into bed and went back to sleep. This morning, I woke up and had a huge knot on my head, my right hand was all cut up, and now I can barely walk because my knee hurts so badly. The only thing I can figure is that I woke up thirsty, went to grab a drink, then passed out while I was walking back to my bedroom. I've had many concussions in my life, and I'm not having any trouble remembering any of the events of last night or yesterday, except for what actually happened that put me on the floor. It was pretty crazy, and I'm kind of worried that this will continue. Has anyone else ever had anything happen like this?

I know that I should go to the doctor, but because I missed my insurance enrollment period when my dad died, the City (my employer) is now denying me insurance coverage starting this month, and I have yet to actually get that whole mess sorted out. Besides the injuries sustained, I feel completely normal today. Weird...

Maybe you tripped and fell? I did that not too long ago, I think. As far as I can figure, I got up in the middle of the night, tripped on something, fell, hit my face on the nightstand, and konked out until morning. It took me several minutes to figure out where the **** I was and how I got there (I was in a motel room somewhere in North Dakota). Scary as hell.

Hopefully that's all that happened to you, and nothing more serious.

Heh, yeah. Should have mentioned that. Blood sugar was likely a variable in my episode.

I don't know... I've been tested for diabetes and everything was fine as of about six months ago.

Sometimes physicians will offer a discounted visit to noninsured people who can pay up front.

Glad you are okay.

Have you checked outside for crop circles? Sounds like an alien abduction gone wrong to me. Some people have adverse reactions to "the probe" and the aliens high tail it out of Dodge, after hitting you with the stun ray of course.

Crop cirlces would indicate that they had landed nearby.

You may be onto something... This was probably the alien in question...

No crop circles in my neighborhood in downtown Indy, though...

Urban crop circles look exactly like the marks left by sport bikes doing donuts. except they are green and luminescent, in most cases.

Good news is since you passed out when probed, they most likely implanted you with a transmitter that will alert future visitors that you are undesireable. The worst is over.

If you are pregnant, the fun is still to come. What are you going to name it?

I just image-googled "men black camera" to see if I could find a pic of Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones with that camera that erases your memory.

Well let's just say that I really wish I'd left safesearch on.
