Wish me luck! (What the foo's for lunch today?)

As if regular Chef Boyardee Beefaroni wasn't bad enough, I am about to embark on an epic lunch involving a generic clone of the same. Bon Italia Macaroni & Beef in Tomato Sauce.

If I'm not back in half an hour, send hazmat. No, scratch that. You'd better send FEMA and NEST.

Well, it almost tastes like Beefaroni.

The jury's still out on whether or not that's A Good Thing(tm)

Oh, I know. It took a lot of work to prepare. Had to take it out of the freezer to thaw, then put it in a bag. It's worth it though.

Are you still with us? Or have you moved on to that great commute on the other side due to salmonella poisining?

I'm here, but I'm feeling really crappy.

Oh yeah, that's right. I forgot to bring fresh ground coffee for my French press, and I absolutely refuse to drink the pernicious offal from the mud machine in the break room.

Edit: Before someone calls me on it: I do realize the apparent irony in (almost) willingly snarfing down some off-brand canned pasta, yet turning my nose up at a little bit of unpredictably repulsive coffee.

Perhaps the "unpredictably repulsive coffee" can ameliorate some of the symptoms that may arise due to ingestion of the "off-brand canned pasta"? These thangs work in mysterious ways, I tell ya....

Edit: At the least, perhaps the "unpredictably repulsive coffee" can help you to pass the "off-brand canned pasta" faster....

Given that there have not yet been any side effects worse than those encountered after consuming "name-brand canned pasta", I think I'll take my chances with water and loads of fluffy marshmallows with a little bit of hot chocolate.
