Which is your favorite ...

Christmas movie that you just have to watch each year? For me I love to watch the oldies "Miracle on 34th Street", "Scrooge" ... I'll be thinking about KT when I watch it this year, "It's a wonderfull Life", etc.

Best Christmas movie (really more of an extended episode) is "Black Adder's Christmas Carol". You MUST see it if you never have.

Bells of St. Mary's
Going My Way
Lilies of the Field

this is a three way tie. I watch them all each Christmas. To the point where my wife got them for me on DVD.

The Big Lebowski. Basically, this is a retelling of the nativity, of angels heard on high and redemption, of being the chosen one and accepting the sins of others.

It also has German nihilists, bowling, and a severed toe.

The only proper way to watch A Christmas Story is to turn on TBS on Christmas day and just leave it on. They play the movie over and over and over on Christmas day.

It's the perfect background. I know I've seen the whole movie and love it, but don't think I've ever seen it from start to finish all in one shot.

Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Nothing brings out the christmas spirit in me like seeing a lot of trolls, orcs, humans and elves getting killed.

Orc and Troll blood = Green
Human and Elf blood = Red

Red + Green = Merry Christmas!!! BWA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!
