Medical help

I was playing football today with some friends, long story short i think i sprained my ankle. It hurts to walk, its pretty much unbearable. When i did fall i herd 3 loud cracks, not sure if thats any good. When i lay down and rest my leg it feels fine, just a little bit of pain. Should i go get this checked out?

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Dip your foot into some wet concrete, let it dry and break it open in 6 weeks, should be good as new.

Loud cracks not good. Elevation, ice, doctor, xray, pronto.

Last time I heard a crack during a fall I'd broken my arm playing rugby.

Yes, definitely get it checked out - broken bones that heal while misaligned can cause problems later on.

Don't run red lights, wear a helmet, use hand signals, get some cycle lights(front and rear) and, FFS, don't run red lights!

Just wrench it in the opposite direction. It'll hurt like the dickens for a moment, but it'll snap all of your bones back into place, and you'll be good as new!

My post contained no sarcasm, only sagely advice from a registered, certified medical professional...me.

This is one of those questions that undeniably always has the answer *yes* as a reply. That is, if you feel the need to ask someone else this question, you already know the answer to it.

Kind of like asking; "Should I call 9-1-1?" If the circumstances are such that the question would enter your mind, the answer is yes.

KnowwhatImean?
