I Can't Sleep!

A word of advice...don't drink coffee in the afternoon.

So....who else is up?

Lullaby Of Foo

Now I lay me down to sleep
Keep my bike safe from the bicycle thief
Keep my tootsies toasty warm
keep my carbon from any harm

Good Night Road Bike
Good Night Moutain Bike
Good night all you Foosters
And good night Moon

Can't sleep either. Pablo Neruda isn't knocking me out, maybe I'll start reading a technical manual.

I just finished an Agatha Christie book. It usually does it for me, but alas, not tonight!

I went to bed too early, and when I do this my dog invariably wakes me up at midnight. He's insanely annoying because he'll jump on and off the bed until I get up to either let him outside or give him a snack. He's a good boy and can't help that he's stupid.
What makes me madder is that he falls right back into snoring slumberland and leaves me to surf the dadgum internet in the wee small hours. I'll probably just stay up since I have an 8 o'clock class.

That, plus hanging my cycling clothes to dry so they don't prompt someone to say this.

Sad Cypress. It's a good one. It usually makes my brain work just enough to get me a little sleepy, but not insightful enough to keep me up all night. Tonight, of course, is the exception, but I blame it on other things.

Well it's not yet my bedtime.

You could always try reading a nice statute, say the Income Tax acts. If that doesn't work nothing will.

You could try a relaxing bath while listening to some gentle classical music.

Awwww! My cat does that too sometimes. I think he usually just wants to play. Damn nocturnal animals!!! I don't know how you manage to go to a class in the morning without sleep. Going to a mindless job, yes...but to try to exercise your brain without letting it rest first? Hmmm...I suppose you could come up with some interesting observations depending on how sleep deprived you are.

Hmmmm perhaps a bath and a boring read both at once? If I do that, I might just risk falling asleep in the bathtub and catching pneumonia!!!

I'm really starting to rethink that massage idea...
