What's Wrong With Me?

I just finished riding and a good deal of the time I was riding into a 25 to 30 mph headwind with gusts even higher. I was huffing and puffing. I then started laughing as the wind sat me up and almost brought me to a standstill. I was clipped in when a wild gust blew the other way and nearly took me out. I really started laughing.

What in the hell is wrong with me? Why am I not just riding the trainer? HAve I lost it or is this jjust what happens when you hang around here long enough?

I read this novel about a man who had a mid-life crisis and put his 4 wheeler or something into a semi-truck.

If i had leg warmers and a way to keep my feet dry and warm than I might do it. But currently i don't and the last time I did something like this - I almost didn't make it back. And let me tell you, your body cannot ride a bike and be shaking violently from being way too cold at the same time very well.

You manned up. Faced it. And finished the ride.

There is nothing wrong with you. Don't try to fix it.

I could go for a grape Nehi. I just got back from riding with the wife. Current conditions 29f and clear.

Its gonna have to get even colder for me to get some "me" time on the the bike. Though she does seem less chatty when its below 40f I just push myself to get of my ass. I`m my own worst buzz killer sometimes.
