Best show in the history of TV

The Wire, HBO.

New season (last season) soon. I've never seen anything that real on TV or movies. Not even close.

Actually, it's about America. Watch it and weep. The first few seasons (there are four), maybe all four, are available on DVD. Devastating. Intelligent, Moving. To the friggin point. I'm telling you the best show I've ever seen, period. Many critics agree. I'm astonished it hasn't gotten Emmys and other awards. It's just beyond all that. Hard to latch onto at first. Once it gets you, you'll watch all of it, it's addicting.

I would have to say that Family Guy has earned that distinction. Aside from Mad TV before Warner Brothers raped and murdered it, I would say it's the funniest thing ever to grace TV.

OK, I just put it in my Blockbuster queue, but it better be good, as I despise cop shows.

I think LOST, Farscape and Battlestar Galactica are the best things I've seen on TV in the last decade.

Further back, I also liked Twin Peaks, The Odd Couple and yes, Seinfeld.

Anyone seen Undeclared? It was a pretty good show.

Sopranos kept me rooted, for a while. Lately I have taken a liking to Dexter.
