Just to let peoples know.

I haven't been posting as much I know. I'm sorry if you miss my silly, fruitcakish, pictures(or not), but methinks that is a thing of the past. I've been trying alot to weed down on coming to BF because there is something in the short term future(well not for awhile), that will leave me without internet for 2 years. I plan on going on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. I most likely won't be able to put in my papers till summer, or summer's end. But I'm trying to get my life in order, and establish some decent habits that don't involve peeing on the toilet seat. Na'mean? Lately, I've been going to church, hanging with friends, and hanging with the GF. I also have been going to the gym, and working on building my upper body. Also, the spin machines are practically like a bicycle, cept you don't have to deal with the elements! I love it. I really hope 2008 is a time for me to actually accomplish some goals, ones that don't involve resolving NOT to make goals like all of you lazy bums. New years was awesome, I wore a pink dress shirt with matching pink shoe laces and went into SF for the fireworks. We couldn't find a parking spot and came promptly back to go to a party. It was an interesting time. I just wanted to wish everyone a super kewl year, and to stay strong and to drink your daily dose of mango slurpee!

If you're going to be sans internets (or internet-lite) for two years, cutting back probably ain't a bad plan. But don't be a stranger.

Any idea where you're getting sent? I hear there are some heathens in Utah...

Wow. You really want those special undies pretty bad, huh?

You know I'm just messin' with ya, Jon. Good luck to you. I'm just glad that you finally came to a solid decision regarding this. I want you to know that I'm here for you in support of your decision.....

Wait. I'm talking like you are going tomorrow or something. Oh hell. You have my phone number.

Pretty cool Jon. I always envy those who are smart enough to make bold decisions in their youth. Most don't and regret it.

No idea where I'd get sent X, this is the beginning of the preparation process. Won't even get my papers in for 7-8 months. Won't leave for 9-10 months, so it's a ways off. I'd only know where I'm going once I get my call which won't be until the submittal of the papers.

Thanks Siu. It's nice to have support.

and Alfster, regardless of religious beliefs going on a mission(it has been shown), has strengthened so many young men in organization, power of will, and many other strong character traits. Everyone I've ever talked to has never regretted going, but many have regretted NOT going.

Definitely. Even if it's just getting out there and doing something. I'm just now getting into such things, and I wish I had started years ago. It helps to be around people who inspire you to do such things, I suppose, but still.

No better time than right now eh?

I wasted the last year and a half thinking. Now it's time to act. Sure everyone I know is long gone on their missions, and I won't see em for even longer now, but I know it will be worth it.

You didn't WASTE a year and a half. You came to a decision naturally. When it was right for you. If you would have rushed it, it would suffer ramifications.

Then email me.

Nobody deserves to be surprised by Provincetown.

Congratulations Jon. I wish you peace of mind and much success showing your other Brothers and Sisters that huge light you always seem to carry around.

Aim high! Err, well, maybe a little bit lower.

Good luck on the mission trip, wherever you end up!

Good luck, Jon. Would you please do us all a favor and teach your fellow missionaries safer ways of riding a bike in traffic areas? They can be really scary sometimes...
