How do I set up an appendix?

I need to know how. I have a 7 pager paper due tomorrow and this appendix is killing me. I don't know how to set one up. I guess I label the legislation, then below it write my summary, and finally adding a web address? Then double space one? Help!

Appendix as in a works cited page? I'm not sure if this is what you need, but:

http://citationmachine.net/index.php

This helps extremely when doing MLA citations.

are you talking about an appendix, which usually contains more detailed background material, like lab reports, or a list of references or citations?

for the former, a page break and header title, followed by the data, in its original format; for the latter, use the format that is typical for your discipline, there should be a style manual out there somewhere

If you're citing legislation, there are specific citation formats for each state's statutes, codes, and session laws. Web addresses aren't the official citation, so it's kinda like they don't "count." If the website where you're getting your statutory text doesn't tell you the citation form, check the "Introduction to Basic Legal Citation" here: http://www.law.cornell.edu/

Also, Randya is right. If you are putting together a proper appendix, you should probably be putting in the full original text of the legislation, not a summary.

Funny, my appendix was on the right side, as is the rest of humanity's. Are you an Alien, Randya?
