    Quick question about videography

Okay. A few guys around here-mostly the group my Dad and I snowmobile with-want to make a video. Me not having my own machine right now, I'm gonna run the camera. Question is, anything I can do to make filming from a moving machine easier? Camera is a JVC Everios, if that matters. Any settings I should be using for snow, other than the "snow" preset on it? Certain way to hold it steadier?

    Thanks for any help.

1st, try to have the light come from behind you.

Also, here's a home made DIY Steadycam setup.

    Cool! You're welcome!

One thing you might also look at is a helmet cam. That JVC is pretty pricey to be banging around. Something from Oregon Scientific, for example.

I'll take a look. Does it just attach to any helmet, like with double-sided tape?
