150-200 Real Life superheroes or "Reals" Operating in the United States

http://articles.citypages.com/articl...-in-real-life/

And one of them lives in my community. This article reminded me of the "White Spider" aka guy in black leather trench coat with giant white spider t-shirt. He patrols Walmart, Target and other places of public interest making sure everyone is safe.

Does anybody else have "Reals" walking around in their city?

Never heard of them, but that cracked me up.

I was going to make a joke, but for all I know I may someday be rescued by "Carpetman" and his sidekick, "Welcome Matt"

I find the whole idea of masks deplorable. It stinks of all the other middle eastern/european/southern candy assed cowards. HTFU! If you believe in what you are doing show your face , stand proud and represent.

I don't think you understand the trials and tribulations of being a superhero. Let's say you've foiled an evil villain's dastardly scheme. As the police are taking him away, he yells, "I'll get you for this Ratwoman!" Now what are you going to do when he breaks out of prison and the only thing he can think about is revenge? If you had been wearing a mask the first time, this would not be a problem. Don't get me wrong, when you're out there helping in the soup kitchen, the costume probably isn't needed.

Superheros cause alot of colateral damage. Lawsuits can get expensive. I mean if i saw one of these 'reals' at the mall, i might get to laughing so hard i might stroke out and die. If he's masked then my wife may never find out who he is and thus will be unable to have her lawyer serve him with a wrongful death suit.

I'll meet his slimy ass on the other side of the wall as he comin' over and kick it so damn hard he'll have to unzip his pants to smoke a cigarette.

Why, what would you do?

Well if I hadn't been wearing a mask I'd hide in my room like a terrified infant, what else? I guess that's why you're the super hero and I'm not. *shame*

Creepy, Creepy. Seems only a step or two away from "Restraining Oder Man" or "Sexual Predator Man"

I know that you meant "order", and I know "odor" is spelled differently. But dang that's funny!
