    Why is it that....

Why is it that....when I wear dark shirts I never spill coffee (or other things) on myself. But every time I wear the white/cream shirt I spill coffee on myself. I swear EVERY TIME I wear this shirt I spill coffee.

    Why? Why? Why?

Chaos theory explains it perfectly. The average color in the universe is some shade of beige, and since your white shirts can be made closer to this average by spilling coffee on them, the Gods of Randomness and Chaos pull out all the stops to defeat the challenge your light colored shirts throw in their face.
The search for inner peace continues...

At least this solution makes sense.

When I think of chaos, I do not think of a beige sport shirt, but hey, that's just the way I roll.

Wouldn't you then be always spilling some sort of bleach-type products on dark-coloured shirts?
The automobile has not merely taken over the street, it has dissolved the
    living tissue of the city. Its appetite for space is absolutely insatiable;
moving and parked, it devours urban land, leaving the buildings as mere

Here's the real reason....they refill their cups when you aren't looking, and well, they are sort of not very neat about it....some spills while they are refilling.

    Ummm
    Are you sure about this?
I've been to Puget Sound and I have seen more Hippies per square mile in one week, than I've seen in Texas my entire life.
I mean aside from the fact that it seems to always be blowing and drizzly which might make going shirtless a tad of a nuisance. I'm just saying...

You must have shown up during the two weeks per year when we see that big yellow thing in the sky. People here go crazy when they see that thing, and I do believe that part of the craziness involves men, and sometimes women, taking off their shirts. The heat drives them mad .

You can visit Puget Sound almost any time of the year and it's beautiful. Do mind the wind though.

*shakes fist at Vista for destroying all of his photos*.
I'll have to find an excuse to fly up there again one of these years.

You forgot to mention the cocomitant fact that every time you spill you are moving so stop moving when you drink.

'Spring' in this case is mid July. Seattle has NEVER had recorded temperatures of over 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

Good timing. Mid-July is when it's approximately 173 degrees here.
