This guy drums like Animal from the Muppets

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTXv8xPBGww

AKA Shannon Larkin (on the right faceing the stage) and the other drums is the lead singer Sully Erna of Godsmack

sounds like somebody mixed Godsmack with some tambourlines or something. And yes I know who Sully is.

Tambourines?

This is Godsmack and their skit 100%. Sully came up with the idea and when Shannon joined the band they put the skit in the show.

There's something funky like Jamaican funky going on in the background off and on that I can't recall ever hearing in any of their songs.

The skit is called Batalla de Los Tambores. In the opening part of the skit Sully is playing the Bongos, Conga and Timbale. Shannon is holding down a really cool tribal beat. Shannon uses a lot of cymbals that is probable what your referring to. It could also be Sullyís crash cymbal in the second part of the skit. He has a tambourine on his crash cymbal.
