We have a visitor!

My parents had to come up from Fla and attend a funeral, and rather than kennel Shotzie, they asked us to watch her for a couple of days. She's a little cutie, and I thought y'all might get an Aww momemt here

Now, I only had temporary custody, Shotzie belongs to my Mom.

Perhaps you need to check into an acquisition?

Although cats are good, I like cats .

I'm allergic to cats. Right now, while I'd love to have a dog, plans I have would be shot down. It's difficult to be able to take off for a month of bike touring in the Summer if you have to worry about a dog, for example.

Tom - My Shih Tzu (Bijoux) loves going for bike rides and she gets pretty excited when she sees the paniers on the bike.

Her sister (a Min Pin) isn't as big on this but next summer I am going to take them out with the trailer since the dog park is a ways off.

I will admit that being allergic to cats is a good reason to not have one.

I have a sister who has...three dogs. Maybe four dogs? I can never remember. She seems to adopt a new one every few months.

Anyway, one of hers is named Bijoux as well (the King Charles Cavalier Spaniel).

EH... We named her that ("Jewel" in French) because she is 1/16 Bichon and 15/16 Shih Tzu and is indeed...a little jewel.

She has the sweetest disposition.
