OK Fooish Peeps -- Cherry Mash????

I, Tude, am a candyholic. And my mission, due to my mother's love of candy as well, is to find new and different candy ...

And so I watch one of those shows on cable on how you make it, etc etc --- and it was about cherries.

OK, mashed cherries, cherry fondant, covered with a nutty chocolate covering called "Cherry Mash" --- old time candy (so I understand from the show) that is mostly known thru the middle U.S.

I've never seen it!

You?

I want one, so does Mom - can you help a poor candyholic here?

hehe - I personally dislike chocolate covered cherries <shudder> the gooey mass that exudes from the chocolate "bulb" just grosses me out ...

This however interested me, and as I stated - I'm always on the lookout for "new" (to me anyway) and different candies ...

Tude,
Those things are made in St Joseph, Missouri, not far from me but I don't remember ever trying one (they sound yucky). I saw a big round cardboard container full of them at the grocery store the other day. If you want, PM me your address and I'll send you a couple of 'em.

I'm that way with Cadbury Eggs... BLECH!!! It reminds me too much of a real egg and I hates me some runny eggs!
