What's the occasion?

Odd video, but nice cake. :D When I bake a cake the center always expands more than the edges and it winds up looking like a cake-mountain.

You're going to laugh, but they had strawberries on sale at the grocery. We decided to get some for the rats for treat. We had berries left over so I made the icing and needed a cake to put under it.

Every wins.

You can get this thing called a magi-cake strip from www.bakerscatalogue.com. They keep the sides cool and slow down their setting so the center and side cook evenly.

Oh FYI, this is a scratch cake, no mix here baybee. :)
