Darwin award contender

This photo was forwarded to me in an email. Yes, those are flip flops supporting the powerstrip that's delivering juice to the bbq (presuming this is not a hoax)...

Might not be plugged in on the other end. Or they're the Euro version of rednecks.

Doesn't Euro stuff use 240VAC instead of 120VAC? More fun for all, I guess.

No speedos. Not euro-rednecks.

I vote for Aussies. What with great whites and killer box jellyfish and stingrays at the beach, crocs in freshwater, they cannot even get in a kiddy pool without adding a death element to it. And Darwin is in Australia as well.

inflatable pool, multiple beer brands, pasty skin, receding hairlines, ugly men... everything points to them being british, except the round plugs.

Quite correct. Most of Europe, at least. There are a few patches where other voltages are used. Some still use the old 220 as well, but most have moved up to 235-240 to improve reliability or something. Not quite sure why.

Probably staged, yes. If not, the thread title is very appropriate!
