Finally got my new guitar!

A big shout out of thanks for those who helped me looking for amps last night and earlier today. Went to the guitar center north of me tonight and brought this home:

Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus Top - Cherry Burst.

The last photo is the Line 6 Pocket Pod effects modeler and headphone amp. My Epiphone Valve Jr. tube amp is on order, hopefully it will be here in a week or so.

Cuda, I always wanted a Les Paul that color, from the time I could tell two guitars apart. Enjoy it!

You went with the Valve Junior? Sweet! You'll love it, trust me. I do!

Nice !!! Sunburst Flame
Great combination of gear. You did well !

I had a 78 Les Paul Custom and I can assure you a current Epi Les Paul is a better axe.
Epis are the best deal going right now !!

Gotta play KiSS "rock n roll all nite party everyday" as yer inauguration tune

Inspired by my last post, i decided to look up what deep purple i have on my computer and i remembered something...the deep purple i do have on my computer came from a "best of deep purple" CD that i got for christmas a few years ago...can you guess which song ISN'T on that CD?

How can you have a "best of deep purple" CD and not include Smoke on the Water?

Sweet Axe Cuda!! I had a 83 Les Paul Studio....loved it. You'll love this one too. Les Pauls are just such a great sounding guitar. Congrats! Now get to rockin'!!

I'm having entirely too much fun playing with all the knobs and controls on the Line6. This thing sounds so damned cool. I can't wait to get the amp (and get a few skills worthy of someone other than myself hearing! )

^ ^ Well, I've been wanting one for several weeks now, but only got the cash in hand to pay for it on Saturday. Took till last night to track one down, which involved two trips to one store, much headache and phone calling, and finally a trip across town to the other close-ish location. Guess it seemed longer than it was. It's a rather long and fairly uninteresting story.

+1

However, I am currently faced with a dilemma: I either have to stop buying guitars (& basses), or stop buying bikes. Not enough space in the apartment for both.

Kill me now.

When I get Hobartlemagne over I'll find a line-in cable and get a wav made. Right now I could play about 3 chords.

Ill bring a little converter box I have. It takes a guitar cable input and gives you a USB output.
