When I look in the mirror I can't help but notice that I get better lookin' each day ... lately though I've resorted to using the convex mirror in the bathroom.

He is!

As a former Ballardite, I was acutely conscious that Stan Boreson was 'da man' in Ballard .

Thanks for that link...

I remember listening to many of Stan's albums when I was a child as my grandparents were big fans... my grandfather was Swedish and got a kick out of many of Stan's tunes.

Anyone who is a Seattle native of a certain age remembers Stan Boreson, JP Patches, Brakeman Bill and the Bardahl sign by the Ballard Bridge. I am of that certain age.

Anyone who's lived here for more than a year should know about Stan Boreson, JP Patches, Brakeman Bill, and have at least been TOLD about the Bardahl sign by the Ballard Bridge.

It's like not knowing where the Space Needle is, or the Edgewater Inn .

I've heard of JP Patches, but didn't know this was the same guy.

Never heard of (or even know what you're talking about) with the Bardahl sign by the Ballard Bridge.

Aslo....what's this "Edgewater Inn" you mention?

J.P. Patches and Stan Boreson aren't the same person, but they are both Seattle icons .

LOL....first two links are blocked by work. I'll have to wait until I get home.

OK if JP Patches and Stan Boreson aren't the same person, then I've never heard of Stan Boreson. Other than he is the person who sings that song, I assume. JP Patches has been on the news a lot lately because they created that JP Patches day or something like that.
