Bah, this sucks

So, while my massage business builds up, I've been looking for supplemental work. I picked up a job as a photographer for a company that does school photos for yearbooks, teams, portraits, etc.

They don't offer enough hours per job, yet I have to keep my days entirely open in case they schedule me for one of those days the week of.

By the way, when I say "not enough hours" I mean the jobs are 2-4 hours long. One a day for four days a week.

I've been looking for a new job to get before I quit this one, but it looks like I may just quit today. My alarm didn't go off and I was supposed to be at a school about 15 mintues before this post went up. I called and told them my situation, they told me not to come in.

I may be turning my equipment in today.

Oh, I should mention that when I say "2-4 hours long," it really means "1.75-5 hours long." Usually around 3 hours.

It doesn't sound as if it was much of a job anyway, so no great loss.

That's ridiculous to be on standby like that.

Can I make a suggestion to boost biz a bit? Make a separate web site for each of your three specialties. The three together make you appear to be ungrounded or dabbling. Also, each specialty requires a completely different graphic vibe.
G/L!
