I haven't been online since last Wednesday morning. It seems my DSL modem bit the dust. It took 9 calls to tech support (in India ) last week to determine the line was ok and the modem was bad. Then it took 2 more calls today (to locals in Atlanta ) to get me set up again and back online, and credit my account for the offline time and free modem and free shipping. I've been with Earthlink for 12 years and this is first BAD experience I've had with them. By Saturday afternoon I was considering calling AT&T or some other ISP and asking about their service. I may still look around, but I'm afraid they all have customer service and tech support in India.
So -- what did I miss on BF?
