Foo has changed

I don't post much, just read and lurk, but Foo just is not as enjoyable since Portis has left us. He always
had the most interesting Posts and thoughts. I really miss him! Anyone else feel the same or are you glad
he has moved on?

There are many that stopped posting and you're right, it's just not as fun as it used to be. But it still passes the time at work so I keep coming back.

What happened to KT's comment? It was here a minute ago.....

FatSam a.k.a Portis must have made him remove it at gunpoint before he blew his cover.

Portis has some issues with the way the site is moderated. He may also be banned at the moment.

That was not the real MERTON. That was a fake MERTON, preying on the unknowing, pretending to be the MERTON.

One of these days, the MERTON shall return. It will be a time of great rejoicing by Foosters.

MERTON hasn't been seen for over a year and a half now. I originally thought he would come back, but after this much time, I'm not so sure.

Do not be fooled...I can feel the power of MERTON. I think he is simply waiting for an appropriate day to return.

When is Easter?

Hold on Foo, I've been thru this on other forums ... sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't and it takes some new blood to cure it or the former peeps come back and hang abit. I and another forumite on another forum are the birthday posters and since the forum went thru some really bad times, then changed software and then went thru more bad times - I check now for some of the old posters from the birthday list (before posting the official H-B thread) - check for the past year and there are still many long time posters who are no longer there.

In the meantime, De Nurse is here - who has a Foo Boo ... I have the perfect fix ...

I WAS A WINNER ON E-BAY THE OTHER NIGHT!

Hmmm, I just purchased a VCR from a GOOD FRIEND, and it came with a tape in it.

Bored, I popped in that mysterious tape and WHOO-BOY, was I glad I had a 2 month supply of microwave popcorn. So I was told I talk with a little stammer now and have a tic in my left eye, but that's one heck of a good tape. Excuse me while I go view it for the 245th time <crunch>.

I wouldn't have thought a VCR was worth the bother of selling . I mean, what's the most you can get for one--fifty cents? A buck, tops ?
