Help save a TV show please, thanks.

I figure more viewers would help so here I am.

Show is Jericho on CBS. It was canceled before, twice I think. Back now for Season 2. As of yesterday night, 4 episodes in season 2.

Numbers, admittedly unofficial, have viewership or ratings or whatever it is benchmarked by as about even with when it was canceled before so it is on par to be canceled again. Already this season has been cut to 7 episodes (3 more until Season is over...), so I am assuming there are 3 episode/weeks to save it.

On Tuesday nights on CBS at 10 Eastern for an hour - I've heard is clashes with some other big show on another network. Reruns of season 1 on SciFi - no clue when. All of season 1 is available online on CBS, but CBS updated it all and it comes out lower quality (probably to cope with bandwidth) so use AOL Video link below. For some reason that still has the quality of the pre "upgraded" CBS online viewing thingey.

Premise is the town of Jericho, Kansas (fictional) after a post apocalyptic nuclear event(s) in the United States. Full of suspense, those annoying "mini" cliff hangers at the end of episodes and what not. I equate maybe to Lost with a lot less flashbacks, less science/science fiction, more politics, more "realism", good characters, decent acting, just as many mysteries and good cast. I do believe there is an online/viral component, but I am not crazy enough to search.

First episode of series starts slow, but it gets better.

http://video.aol.com/video-category/jericho/102968

I would say go out and buy the DVDs, but I don't plan on doing it so, eh..

Thanks.

I like the idea of that show, but the acting ain't that good.
However, a guy on the Rodder's Corner was on the show the other day

Usually, the only good pics are of his car

I noticed Sci-Fi was showing reruns of Jericho on Monday (I think).

My TV only shows what I put in the DVD player. When season 2 comes out on DVD, I'll check it out.

Sorry, I don't think its worth it, I gave the show a bunch of chances, it never lived up to its own potential.

It should move to sci-fi. Just about the quality or better than what they show.

I didn't dig it much.

Sorry, I couldn't save Firefly, and I actually liked that show. Doubt I can save Jericho. Besides I work during prime time.

A little story about Skeet Ulrich , who stars in Jericho, and me:

During the late 80s they filmed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles here in Wilmington. Skeet was going to school at UNC-Wilmington and I was jobless, playing music and being a complete loser. Anyway, I went on an audition for a role, Head Thug, for the TMNT movie and so did Skeet. In the parking lot, he asked if I had any deodorant, I did. I let him borrow it. Long story short— he never returned my Speed Stick, he got the part, and now he is living MY life. Honestly, I’m not bitter…really, I’m not. Btw, he never graduated from college and I have my masters. Ha. Take that. At least I got a prose poem out of the experience and its published….The poem's called Skeet Ulrich is a Thug.

Probably won't matter how many DVDs it sells - it has been revived at least once before.

Season 2 should also be up somewhere around AOL Video, maybe even the link I posted. I know CBS has it online, but like I said, they lowered the quality.

Firefly wasn't bad, but I've drifted away from SciFi/Fantasy stuff. Acting was pretty good on that. Better script, too.
