Umm, Frank, how do we open the hood on this thing?

x136 03-05-08 02:41 PM

There's a scene in the first Die Hard movie like that. 79 cents a gallon or some damn thing.

Hobartlemagne 03-05-08 02:45 PM

I get pissed when I see Shallow Hal, and see them gas up for about $1.50/gal

A prediction of the future...

StrangeWill 03-05-08 02:54 PM

Yeah....I noticed that too. Maybe somebody has a copyright on 9/10 of a cent. LOL

Psydotek 03-05-08 03:01 PM

Does it matter? You'll still have to round up. :(

StrangeWill 03-05-08 03:06 PM

Also, what the hell? Why do you have the charger prod? What a piece of ****.

Psydotek 03-05-08 03:09 PM

Hey, i just googled the image. :p I'm not at home to take a screenshot.

If it were me, i'd have the Dragon's Tooth out along with maxed out run silent and invisibility biomods. :D

[actually the prod is great for taking out the Men and Women in Black] ;)

Diesel would be at least $4.50 at that point.

Remember when the cost per gallon broke a dollar and these things didn't work any more?

Let me tell you that unleaded 95 octane here is around US$7.50. I'm not complaining, though. I don't have a car, and I'd rather see cars driven less, so 20-30 a gallon would be great!

(Of course, we pay in SEK/L, but hey...)

We can't even buy 95 octane here.

Some day Americans will be begging for gas that cheap. :D

x136 03-05-08 06:59 PM

I've already seen $4 diesel, so $4 gas isn't far behind. I bet it's already way over $4/gal in downtown SF.

All 98?

Allen 03-05-08 07:39 PM

At the local airport 100LL (100 octane) is $6.10 a gallon and Jet A (Pops says it's mayonnaise) is going for $5.75

Almost all of the pumps in the US are from 87 to 93. You can get lower or higher but all the gas stations are in that range. The gas is listed as (RON+MON)/2. I believe in Europe they just display Research Octane Number (RON)
