for the futurama fans!

http://gadgets.boingboing.net/2008/0...urm-bever.html

And as a bonus one of my favorite futurama quotes :

Nibblonian: "You are the last hope of the universe."
Fry: "So I really am important? How I feel when I'm drunk is correct?"
Nibblonian: "Yes - except the Dave Matthews Band doesn't rock."

Came and went, bro. Its on DVD now. Benders Big Score. The only thing CC is gonna do is cut down to episode size bits air them on consecutive weeks. I have no idea when they plan to do it. Besides, the DVD extras are pretty good. Save your self the aggrivation of waiting and buy it or get it from Netflix. Fox is gonna release 3 more movie length DVDs which including the one already released will account for 16 new episodes on CC.

FWIW Benders Big Score was better than The Simpsons - The Movie.

I'm glad it's coming back. The Simpsons, on the other hand, really needs to call it a day, as they've gotten really stale, and for years they were one of, if not the best, shows on television.

Hey, I bet before too long someone pops into this thread just to tell us they don't have a television, if I know BikeForums the way I think I do.

Good call. I bet you're right.

Every time a thread about some TV show is started somebody pops in to say they don't even have a TV because they think it makes them look smarter.

Hopefully this beverage doesn't come from the ass of a giant slug ... but I would probably drink it anyways.

Damn! I feel completely mislead. Oh well, I geuss you can expect as much from fox. "We just gotta accept the fact that FOX has to make room for terrific shows like Dark Angel, Titus, Undeclared, Action, That 80's Show, Wonder Falls, Fast Lane, Andy Richter Controls The Universe, Skin, Girl's Club, Cracking Up, The Pitts, Firefly, Get Real, Freaky Links, Wanda At Large, Costello, The Lone Gunman, A Minute with Stan Hooper, Normal Ohio, Pasadena, Harsh Realm, Keen Eddy, The Street, American Embassy, Cedric The Entertainer, The Tick, Louie, And Greg The Bunny...." and whatever other turds Fox and its affiliates have floating around on airtime.

Fine, I'll be that guy. I haven't watched TV in a few years now (though I still own one for DVD playback). But it's not because I think I'm "too smart" (ha!) or anything, I just got tired of the commercials and Fox and others canceling all the good shows. No big deal.

And that said, Futurama is one of my favorite shows ever. I own all four DVD sets, and it's the only show I've thus far ripped to my computer in its entirety. It's fun to be reminded of a particular episode or scene, and be watching it in a few clicks of the mouse.

I'll have to pick up Bender's Big Score one of these days. I remember hearing about the straight-to-DVD movies, but I didn't know one was out.
