You look...different! The Igor explained

A number of you have already asked me 'What the heck is that little bird next to your name?'.

Well, it's an Igor.

Brian, along with Internet Brands, wanted a special way to honour Sheldon Brown's memory.

Here's the thread:

One star, two stars, red stars, blue stars

Having an Igor doesn't remove the ads (but hey, a red star is only $25 for a 30 year membership ), but it's a nice way to remember one of BikeForum's kindest, knowledgeable, entertaining, and most lovable members.

You can have the Igor without the star too. And I'll give one to anyone that makes a donation to a charity.

Please note that BikeForums.net is only acknowledging the contribution, we are not collecting any funds.

huh. No, I personally would like a small pink squirrel next to my name. Tiny, Pink and perhaps with a slight glint, or hint, of a sparkle.

So, what would have to happen for this? Free some potentially squishee squirrels held hostage at EastHill's freezer of horrors? Establish a campaign of Squirrelly watches around the country that would raise awareness of the fact that "SQUIRRELS NEED TO CROSS THE STREET TOO" and back again and across again...

I want a pink squirrel.

Crossing the street, romping on my fences, eating the food out of my bird feeders, staring cheekily at my cats as they make that little cat chattering noise....

I'll see if we can't make you a pink squirrel somehow...

You are probably the only one who thinks you donate 'a little'.

The rest of us think you give freely of yourself--a very Sheldon thing to do .

i think there should be a deely for every time you noticed your hands were bleeding grease while painstakingly following the late sheldons immaculate advice.

is his work published? if not, it should be, and then sold off for charitable goodness. "buy kids bikes" sorta thing...

There's been some talk about it, but I don't know that his family are ready to deal with that.

The board would be a-flutter with the sound of invisible wings if we all had Igors...
