Help by DIGGING

Guys, if you can help me, I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm getting screwed over by Philips and an Authorized Service Center that they referred me to.

Thanks to anyone who can help

dugg. have you notified The Consumerist ( www.consumerist.com ) ???

These guys would be right up your alley in dealing with a problem like this. They don't hesitate to report about what companies are doing to screw people over, and the end result is that PR people from said companies run damage control and make things right, even if they don't really give a **** about you.

I think the suggestion about notifying the consumerist is an excellent one, by the way.

Update: I ended up emailing the CEO Philips and after 2 months, I received a phone call from his assistant. They apologized for everything and sent me a brand new 32" lcd TV to replace my damaged existing one.

Proof that patience and persistence pays off.
