Lance Armstrong - Porsche

Which Porsche did/does he have?

(If anyone knows, model and year please).

timmyquest 03-28-08 10:36 AM

I would like to know what kind of socks he wears, personally.

jsharr 03-28-08 10:41 AM

In 1996 he had a new Porsche that he sold when he began cancer treatment, but I do not know the model.

It was a good read...

I liked it.

It's probably a Porsche Madone

T'is foo where hijacks abound.

This could very well turn into a thread about spanking.

I remember seeing a picture awhile back and it sticks in my head that it was a Turbo.

The expensive one. My pal Don has the 2008 Porsche 911 Carrera convertible if that helps. But he can't ride like Lance. Faster than me, but everybody's faster than me.

SpongeDad 03-28-08 07:26 PM

I heard he used to spank his porsche, or something like that.

How much money would you be willing to put on that?

Pcad, i can out self-loath you any day of the week...i don't think you know who you're messing with.

FatguyRacer 03-29-08 06:19 AM

I thought so.

The 993 Twin Turbo is my favorite 911 model.

giantcfr1 03-29-08 08:24 AM

This would have to be the best I've ever seen:

Except you don't want to be driving that one around in stop&go city traffic. The clutch is all-on or all-off, you pretty much either stall it when trying to take off or you end up lighting up the tyres.

baiskeli 03-29-08 09:12 AM

Evil! Evil!!!!

I had a boss who had something similar to the above and he let anyone drive it (he owned the company). I borrowed it once and drove it exactly 15 minutes (the amount of time it took me to realize that I could easily kill myself).

I'll take your word for it, I'll never get the chance to find out. :(

Agreed, but the latter ones (of the 400 built) have a smoother clutch. Still pretty much on/off like you say though, but a touch softer.

mmerner 03-29-08 10:57 PM

I remember watching Lance get honked at by a person in a porch on those Lance specials.

Just wondering, why would that help?
