Bike to motorcycle ratio

I've learned from these forums that the proper number of bikes is N+1 where N is the number of bikes you own now. Is there a proper ratio of bikes to motorbikes?

Anyone?

One more bike and I can buy a motorcycle. Woo Hoo!!! Actually I'm serious, first I'm buying a commuter type bike and then a dual purpose motorcycle.

Well, I have 2 bikes (one road, one MTB) and I'm getting a new motorcycle at the end of the month. So, I vote 2:1. If you count my wife's bikes, then I have 5, so 5:1.

3:1

3:2 if you count that my wife's moto is registered under my name.

It could have been 3:4 if i hadnt sold the Monster and the Ninja 2-Fiddy.

4:7 here (bicycle:motorcycle). But I am noticing that the bicycles are cheaper/easier to acquire and maintain, and take up a lot less space, so I may move my two-wheel habit further to the pedaling as time goes on.

Infinity. Motorcycles increase the chances of becoming a ward of the state exponentially.

And bicycling doesn't? Both risks are significant and both are manageable with training, equipment, and common sense.

That "Yugo" has been in continuous production since, like, 1982, with the only changes being in improving emissions.

I kinda like these Piaggio MP3 scooters. You see them about in the Giro D'Italia. The local BMW dealer here, Bobs, has them.
