    65g full HD helmet camera but...

    ...the cables alone will set you back USD600 each. Never mind the head unit, control box and solid state recorder you'll also need.

    Now I wouldn't mind seeing those for security cameras, just because of the grainy photos that most have are almost worthless when something really bad happens.

    However, it will take a lot more storage than what is in use now.

    Totally agree with you on the grainy, worthless cctv pictures. Especially when people keep trying to cut security because "...but we've got cctv now."

    There're mini SSRs with capacities of 32gb and beyond but they're expensive (no way ). At this stage, for cyclist, I think that a mini camcorder like the sanyo xacti would be better - hd (not the waterproof version though ), image stab., ssr, night shot, etc.
