Duct tape.

A thread dedicated to that which fixes all things.

Those of you familiar with the Red Green Show will understand this in a deeper sense.

Sme points to ponder,
-duct tape art
-stuff youve fixed with duct tape
-stuff you probably shouldnt fix with duct tape
-stuff red green has cobbled together with duct tape.

I begin by reminding and informing of the time Red Green duct-taped two small cars together, duct taped their steering, and their pedals together, in order to create a hummer. For he had said unto the viewer, "A hummers just like any other car, except it takes up two lanes!"

Duct tape, when used in conjunction with tennis balls (a dirty sock will do in a pinch), silences obnoxious brats.

The duct tape comes off with lighter fluid, but the memories will last a lifetime.

We used to use duct tape all over when derigging sailboats to put them on the trailer. Our biggest trick when bundling things together was to just get the duct tape attached to one item, flip the roll over and take a few wraps sticky side out to tie everythign together, then flip the roll again and attach sticky side to sticky side.

When it is time to unbundle, just cut the duct tape and off it comes with no sticky residue on your mast, etc.

Son is a firefighter and a paramedic, in his case he carries these in varied sizes for those construction site injuries, when returning injured to work after a patch job.

there is to this day a duct tape scholarship in Ontario, it grants you a significant amount of money towards your tuition for doing that!

+ kudos

nice, although duck has to be possibly one of the cruddiest brands of duct tape ever, i hate it with a passion. it has come loose, peeled, and done generally distasteful things to me.

the best kind is the kind that will pull hair out mercilessly if applied to the wrong body part.

More than once, I have held a piece of duct tape in my teeth, so that I could use both hands. Reach up to grab the tape, not realizing my lip has become one with it, and lost a nice hunk of lip meat to the duct tape gods.

Duct Tape is like The Force: it has a light side and a dark side and it holds the universe together.

Exactly. Duct tape, sticky side back-to-back in makes for great bondage fun in a pinch

I've done a lot of asbestos removal, and we use a lot of duct tape. Today alone I probably used more duct tape than the average working class American uses in 2 years.

It leaves a sticky mess on your hands, especially when you use it with spray glue, and it's supposedly carcinogenic. I used to love duct tape, now I think it's about as cool as an ABC sitcom.
