I need the collective wisdom of Foo on this one.
I have three friends whom I'll call Betty, Veronica, and Jughead. Betty and I used to date, but now we're really good friends, and Veronica and Jughead are married. Betty and Veronica are best friends and Jughead and I are friends as well. While I was dating Betty, I started sleeping with Veronica. Call me what you will; it's nothing I haven't called myself because of this. I've heard a lot of people mention cheating situations and how they wish they new or they wish their friends had said something, and I can understand wanting to know, but in this case, all that would end up happening is a divorce and an all-around loss of friendships. Nothing good will come from telling Betty and Jughead, other than the truth being out.
Is truth so important that it's worth what this would cost?
