Last summer when I was out in Portland I saw a number of people with socks and sandals. But, here in Alabama you don't really see it as much. In fact, I think I am the only one that I have seen where them in Alabama besides my old man.

I wore socks with my keen sandals once. My office was the same temperature as a refrigerator and it was in the middle of summer. I didn't want to overheat riding to work in the morning yet I didn't want to freeze while I was there. The solution was to carry a pair of socks in my bag and slip them on when I got to work. I made the mistake of telling someone my situation and was forever dubbed as a fashion faux panista. Meh.
