Found a note on my bike, from a girl

Yesterday started off as one of "those" days, I came downstairs and find a flat tire on my commuter, changed it and went to enjoy a stressful day at campus, midterm, group meeting, homework etc. Rode back for dinner and on the way to my night class got a pinch flat and put a nice dent in the rim right as I got to school. I locked my bike in an unusual location, about 10 feet away from the offending pothole and stormed off to class, extra annoyed because I left my pump at home. After class, I walked to my bike with my friend who lives nearby and owns a pump and we found this note written in girly script that says:

"I just wanted you to know - -

I've seen you around campus and I think you're just the cutest!

I sure do hope this is the right bicycle...

(heart) BC!
"

It totally brightened my day! It made all the aggravation disappear, but now what do I do? Should I lock my bike up in the same place? There's no number or anything. I think this is the first time I've gotten a note from a 'secret admirer'.

I know lots of guys who have pretty "girly" hand writing. Just saying.

Nice work...

HTFU and find Juliet now...

I would leave a note on your bike every time you get off that says "What good does it serve me to not have your number?" or something to that effect.

Leave a note on your bike in manly writing and say "I hope you found the right bike, too. But how would I know that?" And hopefully she will go from there.

How about leaving a note on your bike that says, "Thank you for your note. How about meeting over coffee sometime? " Then either add your contact information to the note or ask her to leave hers. You could be the victim of a hoax, but it could be real, too. Remember that her interest is probably to start a relationship with another person.

Come on botto. I bet she is the hottest girl on campus. Smartest too. Nicest as well.

Oh wait. It could be a set up. A jealous ex waiting for him to reply, to say to meet at a coffee shop at 3:30. And she'd be there with a video camera and a few friends waiting to give him trouble.

You aren't in Florida, are you?

Don't take any chances! Write your phone number on the back of a nude photo of yourself, and tape it to the bike!

Also, hope that "BC" doesn't stand for "Big Chrissie."

Thanks guys, I like Siu Blue Wind's wording the best.

Also, that note is firmly affixed to my house's fridge, making my house mates jealous.

As far as jelous ex's go, all my ex's either don't go to school here, live in another country, or aren't jealous.

They tell me I have girly handwriting... apparently cursive script is a dying art.

Anyways... don't leave a naked signed photo of x136 on your bike.

Do leave a nice note on your bike addressed to the pretty girl as if the original stalker doesn't reply, you might pick up a few new ones.

Maybe I should cut out letters from the newpaper and glue them on, instead of writing.

Eww, no, I didn't even remotely suggest that. That would be punishment for all involved parties and unlucky passerby!

Hocam, that's a cute story. Best of luck if you find the girl.

I've thought of leaving notes on people's bikes. There are two that I can think of: A nice looking road bike and a track bike that I thought was gorgeous. I didn't know who rode them but I just wanted to say something like, "Nice bike. -admirer"

you know, jokes usually have a modicum of reality in them....might want to talk it over with your "freind".
There may be a future there.
