It was given to me by a Frenchman. I don't who the subject is, but I like the picture so much, I hung it up in my garage.

Maybe I should leave it a mystery?

That looks like an early picture of John Coltrane. A very famous...one of the great sax players.

The only thing I ever remember hanging in our garage was a 1984 stick calendar. I thought all my christmuses had come at once when i discovered that for the first time. November was a full spread. For a good few years there as a youngster as far as I was concerned everyday was November 1st 1984...

After looking at a few other pictures of Charlie Parker posted online...I think that's who it may be rather than a young John Coltrane.
