Betty bought some bitter butter
Betty said, if I put this bitter butter in my batter it will make my batter taste bitter
So Betty bought some better butter and said
If I put this better butter in my batter it will make my batter taste better
So it was good that Betty bought some better butter

Alliteration I believe in the repetition of the inital consonant sound in a sentence. Consonance is the reptition of a vowel sound. English 101 was quite a few years ago though, so I am, as usual, most likely, WRONG.
