If you get skinny, I'll leave you...

Somebody's gotta be the contrarian to the other thread.

It happens sometimes...the other, fatter partner can't take that the slimmer partner has bettered him/herself and leaves to wallow in self-pity...or something like that.

Seen it. One of the managers at my family's business had it happen - I've known him as long as I've known anyone - used to be in the 350lb range or so. About four or five years back, he dropped a lot of weight. And then he got served with divorce papers.
Perhaps...his wife had two children somewhat recently and he had gotten a promotion to manager. It's possible she realized she was getting the crappy end of the stick in the deal. To be frank, as there's a good possibility she wasn't at work and wasn't able to curry time in whatever industry she might've been in. I know he was doing full-time, so she was likely stuck at home. With a divorce from him, she'd be getting child support (likely) and the ability to get back into industry and start advancing her career.

Someone said something about being contrarian...

I'm afraid to even hug my skinny friends, out of fear I might accidentally break them.

I could make it sexist and say I don't love you because you're man, and I'm not into that.
Is that better?
