You want to talk about a bad day?

1.) Covering your financially inept family's ass to the tune of $500

2.) Slamming on the breaks to avoid the car full of teen's who did the same, swerving into the shoulder to avoid them then swerving into the ditch to avoid them again, sliding down the ditch, into a tree (perhaps i should have not been so close, perhaps i didn't need to go into the shoulder--they did, maybe i had room?). I was going to sell this truck within the next 3 weeks (or try to), now i need to replace the bed.

3.) Coming home to cool down and realizing you left your shoes an hour away at your mom's place. Yes pismet, i left my shoes behind...again

4.) having to go...Jogging instead...and liking it.

Covering your financially inept family's ass to the tune of $500 Nice of you to do.

2.) I was going to sell this truck within the next 3 weeks (or try to), now i need to replace the bed. EEK! Glad you're OK!

3.) Coming home to cool down and realizing you left your shoes an hour away at your mom's place. Yes pismet, i left my shoes behind...again Sigh, have done some of those things. Just had a shirt mailed to me from when I was camping last Summer ...

4.) having to go...Jogging instead...and liking it. Yay - SALVAGE!

When you go to take your car to have the rear muffler replaced and there is a major hydraulic problem...

... on a Citroen!

and you know that it is going to rain heavily and be freezing cold, you biked and your waterproofs aren't...

... and you have run out of heating fuel for your house and can't collect any more because your car not working.

I'll just have to climb into bed when I get home and make a fuss of the cat.

ohhh, alright -looks like a dumping ground of a poo kinda day - so here goes ...

the hardtail mtb - main commuter either has a crack in the frame or bottom bracket issue - hopefully the latter. Just dropped some $$ on the bikes this past weekend to get the roadie up to snuff as well as some brakes for the mtb - not to mention supplementing the MAJOR remainder of a $180 charity ride qualification (I hate raising money - I sooo dislike friend/associates/businesses looks and body language when one asks for money - so I tend to ask just a couple of people and basically pay for the rest of it and say that was a cool jersey I got for the ride). BUT now I'm a poooor arse person this week! Unfortunately I haven't done, nor have the tools to take that part of a bike off - thinking I'm going to get learn-ned now though - so I'm taking it to a shop next week on payday. And most likely purchasing the tools as well. I rode thru some water a few weeks ago - not to mention all winter nasty driving - where the water was just about over my tires - probably pretty much the culprit - I hope - hoping for no frame cracks.

Hey Timmy - we all have the nasty day!

I hate to step on your cookies but since October, due to serious illness, I've been helping a family member pay their mortgage. Every month I fork out both mine and theirs to the tune of $3,000. Hence the overtime hours and lack of riding time.

You are very lucky, Timmy.... Well so am I. I'm helping them to not lose their house.

Say, today looks a little better.

1.) When someone's debts begin to effect your own finances, you get the authority to dictate their budget, on your terms

2.) Now that i have a $650 dent (the cost of a new bed) in my truck, i don't have to deal with selling a truck that is completely paid for.

3 & 4) Cross training is fine

5.) bchz be bnanaing dem sevs

6.) The lady's brake job is going as easy as pie

The other night I was working at a comedy club, taping a show hosted by an easy going, "happy to be here" young fella. As host, his job was basically to keep the room energy up and bring up the next performer. He was doing a good job, but then midway through the show he failed to come to the stage. An awkward moment followed with the exiting performer stuck in limbo while the bumper music continued to play, with everyone looking at the main room door where he most likely would enter. Eventually he did, with an ashen look on his face. Dropping all pretense of amusement, he apologized, then stated that his car was just towed to the tune of $385. "Thanks City of Hollywood, now I won't be able to pay rent next month, and lord knows my free drink and half off dinner here (famous comedy club) won't pay my rent." Woah... worst possible timing and a very public bad day.

My truck was towed this summer by Iowa City. The ladies working the desk at the tow place started making a joke about a communication error on behalf of the City and the company whom has the contract with the city, an error that cost me $90. They laughed HAHAHAHAH

I responded "Oh HAHAHAHAHAHA, it's just my f'ing rent money HAHAHAHAA"...that shut 'em up real good
