    From Pittsburgh intl airport to downtown Pittsburgh

    Well my flight has just landed and I'm sitting here in Pittsburgh airport. It turns out that downtown pittsburgh, especially the greyhound bus station, is not exactly walking distance from the airport at 17 miles!

    Does anybody familiar with the Pittsburgh area have words of wisdom to offer, ones which pertain to travel in Pittsburgh.

    Bus line? Ride share van? The airport should have a "ground transportation" area which might offer some help. Also, the airport might have some "goodwill ambassadors" walking around in red vests or hats or somesuch. One of these kind folks might be able to steer you in the right direction. Find an airport courtesy phone and ask them.

    If I were in your shoes (lived about two miles from there), I'd be cab-bing it.
    Reacting is mind candy; it requires no thought. Thinking is tedious.

    let me get this straight.

    you've logged on to BF to ask this question, when the chances are very high that there's a real, walking and talking person who could answer that question.

    She or he is probably right in front of you too!
