Do any Foosters wear Cowboy Boots on a regular basis?

I'm thinking about getting pair, but I'm not really sure what I'm looking for. Any advice would be super cool. Thanks

They're great for riding horses.

Other than that, I would refuse to work construction with anyone wearing cowboy boots. They're terrible footwear for traction.

They are very comfy once broken in. Sorta like a Brooks saddle.

#1 rule no rubber soles

I haven't worn them in 15 years, but it is like bikes in that you should stay away from the dept. stores and get them at a western wear store.

THOSE are cowboy boots. But yeah, they have NO traction on any smooth surface. Went on a date with a guy once & he slid & fell while we were walking through a ped way. Funny stuff, but not cowboy cool...

They will be slick when they are new for sure. Once the leather roughens up and you learn how to walk in them you will be fine.

If you want rubber soles or what some would call ***** kickers may bee something like this
