3 good things

Too much negativity...so I want you to tell me about three good things that happened today!

I'll start!

I'm eating some delicious ravioli
I got a couple new clients into my "fan club."
A coworker who I did some boudoir style shots of for her and her hubby's anniversary loved the photos!

You?

Working on future mini park. Washed car for the first time in a while and it didn't rain right after. Threw pop-its at children to wake them up.

My office was shut down at 10:15AM today due to a hazardous material spill (nothing dangerous, just really smelly with no windows to pop open) and after waiting around for an hour we called it a day when we found out it would be few more.

Luckily had my bike in the office (I left if there over the weekend) and had an unexpected but very nice ride home- I don't think I need to expand on this.

Finished up some stuff and took care of some errands I normally couldn't during the week. The to-do list is just a bit shorter now.

It's finally warm enough to ride to work w/o lots of gear (42F).

My eldest son is graduating high school on Thursday.

I'll be going to Moab next month with my youngest son.

Woke up surrounded by three kitties purring loudly.

Had a great commute in, weather's great - legs feel great.

Tossed out the apple/cinnamon oatmeal - blech - sugary stuff with rehydrated, yet still dead apple bodies in it - and moved on to my yummy Italian Wedding soup.

Woke up to my cat using my face as his napkin.
Sun is out today and it's not going to be too hot.
My mind is still here.

1. My daughter is coming home from Granda and Grandpa's today.
2. It's my Friday!
3. I added an extra mile to my commute by stopping for coffee. Mileage and coffee, what could be better?

My mom came to watch our youngest son today, as he is out of school recovering from tonsil removal

WalMart assigned an item number to one of our products, so orders should start coming in soon.

Going to batting cages tonight to work on hitting with our oldest son.

I didn't get hit while riding to work.

I talked to the power company. There WAS something wrong with the meter, I'm not paying for the new meter, AND I'm getting credit all the way back to September of last year!!!

I'm looking forward to doing some shopping for yard stuff after work.

Guess I'll do four:

I bought some exercise equipment to help with back strength.

Summer school makes parking a cinch -- no enforcement on student/faculty/whatever parking (other than the President's space and handicapped areas)

So far, my first machine I've built in a number of years turned out well, so I have an urge to build two more machines, another replacement workstation for me, and a DVR.

Work is absolutely quiet, so going to take off early today and totally off tomorrow just to concentrate on a statistics exam.

Rode a newly aquired junker that I converted to a quick, dirty single speed, up a ridicuosly long and steep hill without stopping this morning!

Got way off topic in one of my classes and spent an hour discussing atmospheric pressure and how it affects temperature and gravity, then figured out (roughly) what altitude 1 atmosphere is equal too... (I know, I'm a nerd, or is that a geek?)

My ex-gf is really happy, which makes me really happy

1) I bought a new laptop
2) I bought a WD My Passport Elite external HD to supplement the storage of the laptop and move my music collection over from my old desktop
3) Hot moms keep rolling down their windows and talking to me when I'm on my bike downtown.

Ok,

My car passed it's six monthly roadworthyness inspection without needing anything other than a new muffler.

Completed 3 jobs at work and made good progress on anther one.

the Bickerton folder got safely to from the garage to work and back without collapsing or breaking (for those who don't know a Bickerton is a folder made from bolted together aluminium, is very flexy like riding a wet noodle, and feels like it will fall apart if you look at it).

Slept in and had a lazy day...didn't even put on anything more than chonies until 5:30 this evening.
Saw that a thread I started has helped cheer people up!

Bonus! Did all my laundry!

I got the Thule rack ordered for the car, and it'll be here Friday, so I'm going kayaking Saturday.
I'm getting back into airsoft and just picked up a G36.
I beat the scrabble mastas while hanging at the coffee shop today.

No matter how much I feel down or happy I always look into the sky and realize the beauty of this world.

Photography and good friends/people are all I need.
